The HMI group specializes in the design and development of vehicle controls for future cars that will be intelligent and connected. We build working interface prototypes that incorporate advanced display solutions, touch-sensitive surface technology, actuation elements, haptic feedback, and voice user interfaces.
User Centered Research
Our usability and human factors research guides our interface design and development activities. Whether we are designing a new HMI concept for a driver assistance system or building a new type of instrument cluster application, it is important to listen to the voice of the customer. This research is performed with customer clinics, driving simulator studies, and product usability tests.
